Process
A clear process. No surprises.
Every matter follows the same sequence — contact, consultation, mandate, and execution. You always know what stage the matter is at and what happens next.
Contact us
Use the online intake form, WhatsApp, or phone. Tell us what the matter is about and what has happened so far. This takes about five minutes and costs nothing.
We respond within one business day. For urgent matters — repossession notices, CCMA deadlines, urgent court orders — contact us by phone or WhatsApp directly and state that it is time-sensitive.
Initial consultation
We review the matter and advise you on the applicable law, the process, the realistic options, and our recommendation. This is a fixed-fee consultation with the cost agreed in advance.
At the end of the consultation you know: what the law says, what your options are, what we recommend, and what it will cost to proceed. There is no pressure to instruct us.
Fee proposal and mandate
If you decide to instruct us, we issue a written fee proposal covering the scope of work and the fees. Nothing proceeds until you have agreed to it in writing.
The mandate sets out exactly what we will do, what we will not do, and what you will be charged. Disbursements (court fees, third-party costs) are listed separately and passed on at cost.
Matter in progress
We handle the matter. You are kept informed at every significant step — we do not go silent and wait for something to happen. You always know where things stand.
We communicate via WhatsApp or email according to your preference. Court dates, deadlines, and required actions are communicated well in advance. Files are securely stored and accessible through the client portal.
Virtual-first
All consultations can be conducted by phone, video call, or WhatsApp. Physical meetings are available on request. You do not need to come to an office.
Same-day response
We respond to all new enquiries within one business day. For urgent matters — deadlines, court orders, repossession notices — we prioritise same-day contact.
Written mandate, always
No work proceeds without a written mandate and agreed fee. You are never surprised by a bill for work you did not authorise.
